City Press writes that the Free Market Foundation’s (FMF’s) court challenge against the extension to nonparties of bargaining council wage deals was quashed last week, but the judges also identified all the actual ways that these extensions could be legally challenged.
City Press reported in April about a civil claim of R120 million instituted by a founding member of the Workers’ Association Union (WAU), Thebe Maswabi, against President Jacob Zuma, State Security Minister David Mahlobo, two other national ministers and the acting police commissioner.
