saa thumb medium95 76Reuters reports that the Department of Public Enterprises (DPE) indicated on Wednesday that South African Airways (SAA) might exit business rescue at the end of February and a decision on an equity partner for the carrier could be made by the end of March.  

The DPE advised in a presentation that the remainder of a R10.5bn government bailout could flow to the airline now that an appropriation measure had been passed.  It added that a plan for SAA to resume operations had not yet been agreed upon.
