SABC News reports that a Pretoria man accused of raping a domestic worker and forcing her to perform sexual acts on his dogs was due on Thursday to appear in the Bronkhorstspruit Magistrate’s Court for his final bail hearing.
Willem Kroukamp is facing 10 charges including rape, kidnapping, sexual assault and malicious damage to property. He has denied all the charges and has claimed to have had a romantic relationship with the woman, whom he said was an employee at his parents’ home in Bronkhorstspruit, east of Pretoria. After the final arguments on Thursday, the court was due to rule on his bail application.
