eNCA reports that the Nelson Mandela Bay municipality finally has its own metro police force, seven years after the plan was first mooted, but the SA Municipal Workers Union (Samwu) is crying foul, saying it wasn't consulted.
Samwu members protested outside the launch venue, saying their members weren’t consulted about the launch. They insisted that negotiations related to the new law enforcement service were still under way and no agreement had yet been reached.
