Wage talks between striking parking marshals and their employer, Ace Parking, deadlocked on Thursday, the Commercial Services and Allied Workers' Union (Cosawu) said. The company is contracted by the City of Johannesburg and other councils to manage their parking services. The workers are demanding a minimum wage of R3500, a provident fund and other benefits and have been on strike since Wednesday. They will be conducting a march in Johannesburg tomorrow.
