Stickers on wine bottles will show compliance with labour rights

The Wine and Agricultural Industry Ethical Trade Association announced last week that a sticker would be produced for wineries that have passed its audit to give a clear indication on wine bottles that at least a minimal standard of labour rights has been observed in the production. It looks like this initiative will work because it has the backing of the Food and Allied Workers’ Union (Fawu), as well as the significant producers.
