NUM interdict to stop membership verification at Implats postponed

An interdict application by the National Union of Mineworkers to stop a union membership verification process at Impala Platinum’s Rustenburg mine has been postponed by the Labour Court until tomorrow. The reason for the postponement was to give the company and rival Association of Mineworkers and Construction Union (AMCU) time to consider an affidavit filed on Thursday.
