Accountability measures for principals welcome - DA

Democratic Alliance MP Wilmot James has welcomed Minister of Basic Education Angie Motshekga's promise to hold principals accountable if their schools fail to achieve more than a 40% matric pass rate and says the DA will hold her to that promise. He agrees that it is necessary to demote principals whose weak leadership or management is found to be the primary cause for a school's poor performance.
