Gold One to start rehiring staff at Modder East this week

Hiring at Gold One’s Modder East mine will start this week after the company dismissed as many as 1,035 workers out of a workforce of 1,800 for participating in an illegal strike. It expects production to ramp up to normal as positions are filled.
