Changes in the management style at clothing factories and a huge cash injection will have saved jobs, says Paul Finnigan, who has been appointed project manager by the IDC to manage 13 projects in the clothing and textile sector in the Western Cape. On a tour with him of factories, MEC Alan Winde said the sector in the province had turned the corner after many years of decline, and that it was moving towards a more sustainable model of development.
