Training vessel unveiled by Samsa

The SA Maritime Safety Authority (Samsa) has unveiled the country’s first-ever vessel acquired for the training of marine cadet students. The purchase of this vessel, previously known as the Aghulhas 1, was a step towards allowing the cadets to complete their sea training on a South African registered vessel, according to Samsa CEO Commander Tsietsi Mokhele.
