Assets seized of physiotherapist who defrauded Compensation Fund

The Assets Forfeiture Unit has seized assets worth R2.1m from a physiotherapist, Dr Jurry Sehunoe, convicted of defrauding the Department of Labour’s Compensation Fund. Sehunoe, who is based in Rustenburg, was part of a syndicate which submitted fictitious claims suggesting that employees had been treated for injuries and other illnesses suffered on duty.
