BDLive reports that the release of the highly anticipated report on "jobs for cash" in schools has been postponed again.  

The Department of Basic Education (DBE) announced that the report, which was scheduled to be released on Friday, would be delayed for two weeks after stakeholders requested more time to "refine their inputs and responses to the report".  This is the second postponement in as many months.  DBE Minister Angie Motshekga last month decided to delay the release of the report to allow teacher unions and other stakeholders implicated in the matter more time to respond.  The report was drawn up by a ministerial task team which was set up after there were reports alleging that members of the SA Democratic Teachers’ Union (Sadtu) were selling principal and deputy principal posts for R30,000 or more.
